Instructions
Step 1
Place the onion well in advance - about half an hour - on a low heat with some sunflower oil and stir frequently. It is best when the onion is slightly browned and caramelized.
Step 2
Add the seitan and garlic to the onion and stew for a few minutes.
Step 3
Add the rest of the ingredients, except the maizena and stir well. Let it simmer for an hour.
Step 4
Add the cornstarch and water and continue to simmer for 5 minutes.
