Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius and spray rusk pan.

Step 2
Melt butter and honey together
Step 3
Sift the flour. Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
Step 4
Beat the eggs and kefir/yoghurt/buttermilk together
Step 5
Add all to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Knead for about 5min. It won’t form a ball.
Step 6
Press down into rusk pan and bake for 50min at 175 degrees Celsius.
Step 7
Allow to cool in pan before separating rusks and arranging them on a large baking tray.
Step 8
Dry out in oven at 50-80 degrees Celsius overnight. (use wooden spoon to keep door open).
