Step 1
Beat heavy cream vanilla and sugar together until stiff peaks form
Step 2
Mix in mascarpone until smooth
Step 3
Dip lady fingers in strong espresso and line the bottom of an 8x8, round or square or similar
Step 4
Top with half the mascarpone mixture and spread evenly
Step 5
Top with cocoa powder then more espresso soaked lady fingers then the rest of the mascarpone mixture
Step 6
Top with more cocoa powder, then use a knife to gently outline the slices in the cocoa powder
Step 7
Chill 4 hours but preferably overnight. Then scoop out with a serving spoon to serve!
