Smoked Gouda and Miso Garlic Bread with Hot Honey
I love this with brioche because the sweet flavor and fluffy texture go beautifully with the umami miso and hot honey. It all just WORKS. Try this and let me know what you think 😍it’s important you choose a gouda that has a low melting point - the smoked gouda from Whole Foods works PERFECTLY!

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
Step 2
Slice the loaf horizontally ¾ of the way down into cubes, leaving enough for the filling.
Step 3
Make your Miso butter paste: Mix to combine the butter, garlic and miso.
Step 4
When ready to assemble, spread the paste evenly throughout the loaf and press the cheese firmly into each pocket of the loaf until well coated.
Step 5
Bake for 10 -15 minutes until cheese has melted and then broil for 1 minute until cheese is golden brown and crispy (if preferred.) Keep an eye on the Bread whilst it is in the oven to make sure the cheese doesn't burn.
Step 6
In a small bowl, mix the honey, chili oil and chili flakes until combined. Drizzle on top of the bread. Top with chives
