Veggies and tofu Ptitim stew!

Instructions

Step 1
-Cut the block of tofu into small cubes and leave the cubes in the soy sauce.

-Cut the sweet potato into small cubes and fry in a pot until golden and a little softer.

-Add the Ptitim to the pot and mix. After you fry that a little, add a 1.5 cup of water to the pan, and cover the pot until the Ptitim are cooked.

-Meanwhile, chop the onion and fry in a separate pan. Drain the tofu cubes from the soy sauce and add to the fried onion. Fry while stirring until the onion and tofu are golden.

-Add the onion and the fried tofu to the pot of the Ptitim & sweet potato and mix.

-Chop up the basil leaves, add to the pot, season with salt and pepper to taste and mix.

-Remove from the heat after all the water has been absorbed and the Ptitim have softened (between ten minutes and a quarter of an hour of cooking). Serve hot.🫶
