2 poundsground beyond beef

2 x 15 ouncecans no-salt-added tomato sauce

1 x 14 ouncecan fire roasted diced tomatoes

1 x 15 ouncecan no-salt-added kidney beans
drained and rinsed
1 x 15 ouncecan no-salt-added canellini beans
drained and rinsed

1 x 15 ouncecan no-salt-added black beans
drained and rinsed

1 ½ cupsvegetable broth

1onion
medium, diced

1bell pepper
medium, any color, diced

0.5jalapeño pepper
small, finely diced, seeds and membranes removed for less heat

4cloves garlic
minced

3 tablespoonschili powder

1 tablespoonground cumin

1 tablespooncocoa powder

1 teaspoonsmoked paprika

¼ teaspoonground cinnamon

¼ teaspoonfine salt
plus more to taste

¼ teaspoonground black pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cook onions in pan over low heat until translucent. Add garlic and cook until slightly golden. Set aside.
Step 2
Cook meat until done. Add onions and garlic and the spice mixture. Stir until coated.
Step 3
Add remaining ingredients and bring to low boil for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Serve over pasta or cornbread. Add grated cheese.
