Chicken puttanesca pasta
16 ounce jar puttanesca or marinara sauce
1 tablespoon spicy red pepper sauce
1 pound pasta
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast cubed
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 cup sliced olives
1 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup pasta water
In a skillet over high heat add olive oil and chicken breast add the seasoning and sauté until chicken is fully cooked through. In the meantime cook your pasta and reserve a half a cup of pasta water. Once the chicken is fully cooked through add in the jarred sauce the red pepper sauce and the reserved pasta water. Mix well and add and sliced olives. Simmer for three minutes then add cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese mix well and simmer for 3 minutes before serving.
