Salmon Broccoli Pasta

Instructions

Step 1
Prep the broccoli and add to a pan with the pasta and boiled water. Bring to the boil and turn down to simmer until cooked.

Step 2
Whilst the pasta and broccoli cook, add a knob of butter to a sauce pan and melt on low heat. Once melted gradually add plain flour and stir until combined and forms a ball. The grandually add milk, stir thoroughly and continuously until combined into a smooth sauce. Add the cream cheese for richness - could also use grated cheese.

Step 3
Set the sauce aside and keep warm, or if you have 2 cooks, do this alongside. Add oil to a frying pan and heat up, pan fry the salmon - skin side first - for 4-5 minutes on each side, until the colour has changed through the full piece of fish. Peel the skin off once that side has cooked.

Step 4
Strain the pasta and broccoli, return to the pot. Pour over the cheese sauce, cut the almon into pieces roughly with wooden spoon and add to pot. Stir all the compinents together and dish up for eating.
