Delicata squash with chicken and cabbage

I had a delicata squash and some cabbage and I needed to make dinner -- it turned out to be a keeper!

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F.

Step 2
Slice delicata squash crossways in about 1/2" slices and remove seeds.

Coat squash slices with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika; put on a baking sheet.

Step 4
Slice the onion and put it on the baking sheet along with the garlic cloves.
Step 5
Bake at 350°F until the squash is tender -- about 20 minutes.

While those vegetables bake, slice the cabbage and saute in olive oil.

Step 7
When the squash is tender, add the vegetables to the cabbage. Add 1/4-1/3c water, heat until it steams, cover the skillet and turn off the heat.

Put the frozen chicken chunks in the baking sheet and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Bake chicken at 350°F until cooked through -- about 15-20 minutes.

While the chicken bakes, toast sliced almonds (melt butter in a saute pan; add sliced almonds, stir until barely toasted (golden-tan)

Add the chicken to the cabbage mixture. Sprinkle with toasted almonds and serve.
