You can boil it whole or peel and cut them into cubes.

To boil, start by filling a pot with water. Bring to the boil and throw in sweet potatoes to cook until tender.

If cooking on high heat, the average cooking time is 12-15 minutes. Slow-cooking sweet potatoes might take 3-4 hours.

Drain the water; Serve and enjoy.

Cook Nilagang Kamote in a Microwave Procedure

Wash the Kamote under cool running water, scrub the skin of it to remove the dirt.

Arrange in a microwave-friendly dish and cook uncovered for 8-10 minutes or until soft; Poke with a knife or fork to check for softness.

Remove from microwave and cut deep slits into the surface.
Step 10
Allow to cool for 2-4 minutes and gently push in the potato sides to open it up; Serve.
