Instructions

Step 1
In heavy stock pot, cook bacon until crisp. Stirring in leeks, onion, celery, and carrots. Sauté 2 min. until vegetables start to wilt. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Add bay leaves and thyme. Stir in flour and cook 2 min.
Step 3
Add potatoes, clam juice. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce to a simmer. Simmer until potatoes are tender about 12 min.
Step 4
Add cream and bring to a simmer.
Step 5
Add clams and simmer 2 min. Stir in parsley. Season with salt and pepper if ne
