Instructions
Step 1
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add sliced onions.

Sprinkle onion with a pinch of salt to help draw out the moisture.

Sauté the onions until they are a caramel color, then add the red wine and simmer until the liquid is almost completely gone.
