Step 1

Melt cheese ($5) for 25-30 minutes at 400F, surrounded by 2c grape tomatoes, a thinly sliced Vidalia Onion or red onion, drizzle of oil, S&P, and any fresh or dried herbs you like ($1-3). I threw in some oil-marinated artichokes and I used that oil for drizzling. Stir melted cheese, tomato, and onion into a sauce. Add al dente pasta (2c dry pasta, cooked. I used $2 Rigatoni). Adjust seasoning. Serve with a bit of bread and fresh basil.
