April's Famous Spinach Dip served in a Bread Bowl!

Instructions
Step 1

Cook the Bacon, Chop.



Step 2

Thaw the frozen spinach. Drain.

Step 3
In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and mayonnaise together until mixed well and creamy.



Step 4

With a wooden spoon or spatula, stir in the spinach, cheese, bacon, onion, garlic, and seasonings.








Step 5

Remove 1 1/2 inch off the top of the sourdough bread, set aside.

Step 6

Hollow out the bottom of the bread, leaving a 1/2 inch shell, and being careful not to poke holes in the bottom/sides. Cube the bread that was removed and set aside.
Step 7

Fill the shell with the spinach dip when ready to cook. Wrap in aluminum foil, place on a baking sheet.


Step 8
Bake at 375 degrees for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours or until dip is heated through. Remove foil carefully.

Step 9

Serve warm with bread cubes/vegetables/Tostitos.
