Instructions

Step 1
Bring large pot of water to a boil. Cook the pasta noodles al dente according to package directions. Bow Tie or linguine pasta work best but any kind will work.
Step 2
When draining pasta after it is cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water, to thin the sauce later.
Step 3
If you haven't already chopped the vegetables, Dice the sweet peppers in small pieces, the spinach in 1/4 inch strips and the broccolli on small florets, removing most of the stem.
Step 4
In a medium bowl combine the eggs, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, basil and salt and pepper to your taste. Blend ingredients thoroughly and place to the side.
Step 5
Cook bacon or ham on medium heat until fully cooked and browned. Remove the meat and place to the side. Leave any grease in the pan.
Step 6
Saute' the peppers, and broccoli in the grease. Add additional butter if the vegetables are sticking to the pan.
Step 7
Drain excess juice from the can of tomatoes and add to pan. Add garlic. Bring to a boil.
Step 8
Add in the frozen peas and the precooked chicken. Heat until thoroughly heated.
Step 9
Add the spinach. Turn the burner down to low and set the timer for 3 minutes. Allow the pan to cool down before adding pasta and sauce. Stirring the spinach in. If the skillet is too hot the sauce will turn out like scrambled eggs instead of creamy sauce.
Step 10
After the pan has cooled down, add pasta and sauce to skillet. Tossing until the sauce has been mixed in. Add the reserved 1/2 of pasta water to thin the sauce.
Step 11
Add the bacon and/ or ham into the skillet.
Step 12
