Creamy Tuscan Sausage Gnocchi

Instructions

Step 1
Crumble and sauté the sausage over med-high heat until browned (5-7 minutes)
Step 2
Drain sausage and place back in pan
Step 3
Stir in garlic and cook over med-high heat for 30 seconds

Add the broth, cream, lemon juice, sun dried tomatoes, and gnocchi to the pan and stir to combine
Step 5
Reduce heat to medium and cover the pan
Step 6
Cook for 5 minutes
Step 7
Stir, then add spinach and cover for another 1-2 minutes until spinach cooks down
Step 8
Stir in the Parmesan cheese and basil (if using) and ensure the gnocchi is cooked through and the sauce is thickened to your liking. Cook for another minute or two if needed.
Step 9
Season with salt and pepper, or crushed red pepper flakes for added heat and serve
