Instructions
Step 1
Set instant pot to saute at high temperature. Saute garlic, onion, thyme, and mushroom until tender.
Step 2
Whisk in flour and cook until lightly browned.
Step 3
Stir in sherry wine, scraping the brown bits at the bottom. Add in beef broth, worcestershire sauce, and beef. Change the setting to pressure cooker at high temperature. Set timer for 15 minutes. When done, quick release pressure according to manufacturer instructions.
Step 4
Stir in 1 package of egg noodles. Set setting to pressure cooker at high temperature and cook for 5 minutes. When finish cooking, quick release according to manufacturer instructions.
Step 5
Stir in sour cream. Seasoned with additional salt and pepper or other spices according to liking. If want the sauce thicker, change setting to soup, add in water mixed with a bit of corn starch and let it cook till desired thickness.
Step 6
Serve immediately. Top with shaved carrots!
