Ingredients

1 cupjasmine rice
uncooked
1 lbchicken breast
1 Tbspolive oil
salt
to taste
pepper
to taste
garlic powder
to taste
onion powder
to taste
4 cupsbroccoli
sesame seeds
to serve
green onions
to serve
Sauce
Instructions
Step 1
Cook rice according to package.
Step 2
Boil water to steam broccoli
Step 3
Add olive oil to a pan over medium heat
Step 4
Cut chicken into 1 inch cubes and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder
Step 5
Add chicken to the pan, stirring occasionally to brown all sides
Step 6
Add ingredients for the sauce in separate bowl and whisk until combined.
Step 7
Add broccoli to steamer basket and cook for 5 minutes, or until cooked through
Step 8
When the chicken is almost done, pour in the sauce and allow to simmer for about 5 minutes, until reduced
Step 9
Serve with a scoop of rice, broccoli, and chicken
Step 10
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds
