Step 1
Boil pasta until al-dente.
Step 2
Strain the pasta and reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
Step 3
In a bowl, separate the egg yolks from the egg whites.
Step 4
In the bowl with the egg yolks, add your parmesan cheese and gochujang. Set this aside for now.
Step 5
In a pan over medium low heat, cook your bacon until crispy.
Step 6
Lower the heat and sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Step 7
Toss the pasta into the pan and sauté the pasta in the bacon garlic for 1-2 mins until well coated.
Step 8
Remove the pan from the heat and add the egg mixture.
Step 9
Toss quickly to create a thick and creamy sauce.
Step 10
Add some pasta water if the sauce becomes too thick.
Step 11
Serve immediately.
