Apple baked oatmeal

I made this to my liking. The recipe lists whole milk, not soy.
Preheat oven to 450°F. Lightly grease an 8 x 8" glass baking dish with butter and set aside.
2. In a large bowl, combine oats, walnuts, cinnamon, ginger, and salt. Mix in apples, yogurt, milk, eggs, maple syrup, and vanilla. Stir in butter and cheese until all ingredients are well combined.
3. Spread mixture into baking dish and bake 20 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown and oatmeal is set. Cool in baking dish at least 5 minutes before serving.
4. Cut into 4 equal servings.
