Chana chaat is a chickpea dish which can be enjoyed as a snack or a side dish for your meal. This recipe does not have salt, as the tinned chickpeas already have salt. This dish is usually served cold but can be heated.

Instructions
Step 1
Peel and boil the potatoes. Put to one side.
Step 2
Empty the chickpeas, with the liquid, into a serving dish.
Step 3
Chop the tomato and peel and chop the onion. Add to the chickpeas.
Step 4
In a cup mix the tamarind with the water and add to the chickpeas.
Step 5
Add the boiled potatoes to the chickpeas along with all the spices.
Step 6
Garnish with chopped coriander.
