Instructions
Step 1
Soak the Khubeize leaves in water while removing the leaves from the stems, add a little salt. Rinse it under running water and drain well.
Step 2
In a deep bowl, put the chopped onions, add the chopped Khubeize (Malva leaves), Sprinkle a little salt, and start rubbing the leaves with onion vigorously until you get most of the water out of the leaves.
Step 3
For the dressing; In a mortar, smash the garlic with pinch of salt, add the olive oil and lemon, pinch of pepper and mix all together.
Step 4
Put the Khubeize in a serving plate, add the dressing, sprinkle lemon zest, toss all together and serve.
