Instructions

Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine all the dry ingredients.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, combine all the wet ingredients. Whisk into dry ingredients until a batter forms.
Step 3
Slowly stream in melted unsalted butter until combined.
Step 4
Preheat the waffle iron, spray with cooking oil or butter, and add enough batter to fill the iron ¾ of the way around.
Step 5
Cook until golden brown then serve with your favorite toppings.
Step 6
Top with a piece of butter and drizzle with maple syrup.
