Instructions
Step 1
Heat up a skillet on medium heat and coat with a generous amount of olive oil.
Step 2
Add sliced garlic and cherry tomatoes, followed by a very generous sprinkle of salt. We want to coat everything with salt and olive oil to speed up the cooking process.
Step 3
Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring regularly. You will notice the tomatoes will start blistering and bursting. We want all of them to eventually burst and let out their juices. Cook until a thick sauce is formed from the tomatoes.
Step 4
Add chile slices and some basil. Make sure to also adjust salty levels if needed.
Step 5
Add cooked pasta and a ladleful of the pasta water. Stir and toss on low heat until a smooth, thick sauce is formed.
