Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Sauté diced onion in olive oil until browned. Add garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant. In a medium sized bowl combine cooked onions and garlic, ground meat, panko, parsley, allspice, nutmeg, cardamom, pepper, salt and egg. Mix well until combined.
Step 2
Roll meatball mixture into around 20 meatballs and place on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for around 20 minutes or until completely cooked through.
Step 3
While meatballs are cooking, melt 4 tablespoons butter in a skillet. Add flour and whisk until it turns brown. Slowly stir in beef broth and heavy cream. Add Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard and bring to a simmer until sauce starts to thicken into a gravy-like consistency. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4
Add the cooked meatballs back to the skillet and simmer for another 1-2 minutes. Serve over egg noodles and garnish with chopped parsley.
