Ingredients
4 servings
5 cupsfine egg noodles
uncooked
1 tablespoonextra virgin olive oil
1 x 8 ozfresh mushrooms
sliced
1 cupjulienne carrots
1 cupred bell pepper strips
2green onions
diagonally sliced, green tops reserved
1 lbbeef sirloin steak
boneless, cut into thin bite-size strips
½ cupteriyaki marinade and sauce
2 teaspoonscornstarch
Instructions
Step 1
Cook and drain noodles as directed on package.
Step 2
Meanwhile, in 12-inch nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
Step 3
Cook mushrooms, carrots, bell pepper and white portion of onions in oil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until soft.
Step 4
Remove mixture from skillet to bowl; cover to keep warm.
Step 5
In same skillet, cook beef 1 to 2 minutes or just until beef begins to brown: drain.
Step 6
In small bowl, mix teriyaki marinade and cornstarch until blended.
Step 7
Stir teriyaki mixture and mushroom mixture into skillet with beef.
Step 8
Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce is thickened.
Step 9
In large serving bowl, toss cooked noodles with beef mixture and reserved green onion tops.
