Instructions
Step 1
Cut slits into the chicken legs for better seasoning.
Step 2
Rub the chicken in yoghurt. Sprinkle in paprika and rub into chicken. Add other seasonings in. Salt, cumin, red chili powder, curry powder, turmeric, black pepper, and rosemary last. Rub all of the seasonings in well, at least five minutes. All of the seasonings are eyeballed and to taste but preferred portions were: more black pepper, cumin, paprika, and chili powder and try to use less curry powder as possible because it's only to add a little flavor but not the desired flavor profile for this dish.
Step 3
Let it sit in the fridge for at least 15 minutes. Preheat grill / air fryer / oven while you wait.
Step 4
Lay down onion slices and garlic cloves and then chicken. Take out onion when caramelized to the desired texture and let chicken continue cooking. If the raw chicken touches the onion or garlic you can get rid of it.
Step 5
Air fryer setting: Grilled on Medium for 25 minutes (12.5 minutes each side) at first to cook then added 10 minutes to add char. Remember to flip the chicken and check with meat thermometer.
Step 6
Brunoise / small dice veggies for salad. Add salt, pepper, lemon juice to taste.
Step 7
Serve with naan / pita / tortilla, rice, and salad.
