Instructions

Step 1
In a saucepan, heat the oil over medium high and sauté the onion for about 4 minutes, until it turns translucent.

Add the potatoes and enough hot up water to almost cover
Step 3
Fit a lid on the pan and bring to a low boil, Cook for 25 to 30 minutes, until potatoes are cooked and the water begins to thicken
Step 4
Stir frequently to prevent scorching, When potatoes are done, add butter and milk
Step 5
Heat through. Taste and add sale and pepper
