Instructions
Step 1
combine diced onion & ground beef, brown in skillet
Step 2
drain grease from skillet
Step 3
Fold in cream of mushroom soup very well. Add pepper to taste. (I do not add salt due to the soup containing so much sodium)
Step 4
Pour into 9 x 13 in greased casserole dish
Step 5
Layer with the 2 cups of shredded cheese
Step 6
Place tater tops on top of cheese, placing them like a puzzle very close together pressing gently into the beef & cheese layer.
Step 7
Bake @ 375 degrees for 40 -45 minutes until tots are golden brown on top
