Stuffed Peppers

This is an easy stuffed pepper recipe made with ground beef, onion, tomato sauce and cooked rice. I used the pre cooked rice bags. And I prefer orange or red peppers over green.

Step 1
Cut top off of peppers, clean out seeds, bake at 425 for 5 minutes or air fry at 400 for 4 minutes or boil for 4 minutes. Let cool. While peppers cool make the filling: brown ground beef and onions in olive oil. Add sauce, italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, pepper and rice. Stir and cook until heated through. Shut off heat stir in parmesan. Spoon reserved tomato sauce onto bottom of large dish. Fill peppers with filling and place in large dish. Cover with foil and bake at 350* for 30 minutes. Uncover and place 2 Tbl of mozzarella on top of each pepper. Bake until cheese melts. Serve with spooned Sauce on top of pepper.
