1 lbground beef

1 ½ cupsonions
chopped

2 teaspoonsminced garlic

1 ½ teaspoonsfresh ginger
minced

½ teaspooncrushed red pepper
add extra if you like it spicier

2 teaspoonssesame oil

2 tablespoonscornstarch

¾ cupbeef broth

⅓ cuphoisin sauce

2 tablespoonssoy sauce

8 ounceslo mein noodles
dry, cooked, or any linguine style noodle if you prefer

½ cupgreen onions
sliced
Instructions
Step 1
Brown ground beef in a large skillet, stirring until it crumbles; drain and keep warm.
Step 2
Pour sesame oil in pan and heat till hot. Sauté onion and next 4 ingredients in hot sesame oil until tender.
Step 3
Combine cornstarch and beef broth, whisking until smooth. Stir broth mixture, hoisin sauce, and soy sauce into onion mixture. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; boil, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Stir in ground beef. Toss with hot cooked pasta, and sprinkle with sliced green onions.
