Three Cheese Beef Pasta Shells

6 steps
Prep:10minCook:55min
One of my favorite recipes passed down from my mother. 4 servings. I prefer using ground beef, but chicken, turkey, or pork can be substituted.

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°. Cook and drain pasta shells.
Step 2
Cook ground beef, drain, and let cool slightly.
Step 3
Pour 1 cup of pasta sauce into ungreased 13"x9" baking dish. In separate bowl mix cream cheese spread, 1 cup of Italian cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, and beef.
Step 4
Spoon approximately 1 tablespoon of mixture into shells. Pour remaining pasta sauce over shells. Make sure shells are covered well to keep from getting crispy (I usually get more than a 26 ounce jar of sauce because I like it really saucy.)
Step 5
Bake for 45 minutes. Put 1/2 cup Italian cheese on top (I usually add another 1/2 cup of cheese to make it extra cheesy) and bake for another 10 minutes.
Step 6
Sprinkle with parsley and enjoy!
