Instructions
For the filling:
Step 1
In a bowl, combine the room temperature unsalted butter, light brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Mix until well combined

Set aside
For the French toast:
Step 3
Using a rolling pin, flatten the 12 slices of bread.

Step 4
Use a 4” heart shaped cookie cutter to cut out the slices.
Step 5
Optional: I don’t like wasting the scraps. I used a small heart shaped cookie cutter to make mini hearts. You can also tear the bread up with your hands, doesn’t matter <3
Step 6
Spread a layer of the cinnamon mixture onto the cut out bread.
Step 7
Place another piece of bread on top. Use a fork to seal the sides.
Step 8
Repeat the process until you run out. Set aside.
Step 9
In a bowl, combine the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Whisk until well combined.

Step 10
Dip the cinnamon stuffed bread until well coated. (Dont soak for too long)
Step 11
Don’t forgot the scraps
Step 12
Lightly grease a non stick pan with some butter or cooking spray. Cook on medium heat until golden brown on each side.

For coating:
Step 13
In a bowl, whisk the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
