Bonnag is a traditional Manx bread which, it is believed, has been around for hundreds of years. Traditionally, Bonnag used to be a bread eaten daily by local Manxies, traditionally served with butter or some people like it dry. Fruit is put in it during celebrations.

Grease a loaf tin with low fat spread
Step 3
Rub low fat spread into flour
Step 4
Add all the dry ingredients and mix
Step 5
Add the milk and mix well
Step 6
Bake in the oven for approximately 1 hour
