Step 1
Heat the waffle iron and spray with Pam.
Step 2
Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a medium bowl. Stir in milk, butter, and egg yolk until well blended.
Step 3
Beat egg whites in small bowl on high speed until stiff peaks form. Add flour mixture to egg whites.
Step 4
Pour about 2/3 of a cup of the batter onto the center of the hot waffle iron. Bake until steaming stops. Remove waffle carefully and repeat remaining with remaining batter.
