3 tablespoonsbutter
from a stick! Not fake butter
2 tablespoonsdried parsley
1 tablespoonsminced garlic
16 ozrotini pasta
32 ozhalf and half
0.33 bottlewhite wine
specially a Sauvignon Blanc
salt
pepper
to taste
6 ozParmesan cheese
shredded, not grated
1 tablespoonslemon juice
12 ozcrawfish tails
cooked, OR 1/2 pound of shrimp
Instructions
Step 1
Take a large pasta pot, and throw in butter, onion, garlic, and lemon juice (and shrimp if you're doing shrimp rather than crawfish). SautΓ© until butter is melted and onions are mostly transparent (and shrimp are pinkish if applicable)
Step 2
Throw in every other ingredient (including spices) EXCEPT Parmesan cheese. Start with a 1/3 of the bottle of wine and add more if it looks like the noods need more liquid.
Step 3
Cook on medium at a low boil (stirring every 2 minutes or so) until noods are al dente. Takes anywhere from 10-20 min.
Step 4
Remove pot from heat (like just move it to a different eye on the stove), and let sit for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Stir in parm cheese.
