Step 1
Pour the Guinness in to a pan & reduce
Step 2
Fry the sausages
Step 3
Boil/Steam potatoes
Step 4
Finely slice the onions & garlic. Add them & the herbs to a pan. Fry till softened. Put 2 tbsp of honey in the reduced Guinness pot.
Step 5
Add a shot of whiskey & flambรฉ. When alcohol has evaporated pour in the beef stock & Guinness /Honey. Leave to reduce. Add tsp of Marmite & a glut of Worcestershire sauce.
Step 6
Mash the potatoes with butter & milk. Add seasoning of salt & white pepper
Step 7
Pour the reduced onion gravy on a plate, place the sausages on top with a generous helping of the mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
