Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F

Step 2
Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices, and salt together in a large bowl and set aside.

In a medium bowl, combine sugar, pumpkin, and molasses.

Pour wet mixture into dry mixture and add 1/2 cup water.
Step 5
Stroke about ten times, add 1/4 cup water, then stir until incorporated. Be careful not to overmix.
Step 6
Transfer to greased bread pan.

Step 7
Bake 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and the loaf has peaked.
