No Yeast Whole Wheat Burger Buns

6 steps
Prep:10minCook:25min
These buns require no yeast, and instead rely on chemical leaveners (baking powder and soda). This means you can prepare them right around dinner time, no waiting required. For either standard burger patties or a burger bowl, see the links below https://s.samsungfood.com/lYYiq https://s.samsungfood.com/QXVjS

Step 5
Divide the dough into 4 equal sized balls, about 90 g each. Roll into a ball and place them on the tray. Flatten to the size of your burgers. They will expand upward in the oven, but not really outward, so make them as wide as you want them to be when done baking. I probably could have flattened these a bit more here

Step 6
Bake at 400F for about 20-22 minutes. The buns will be golden brown, sound hollow when tapped on the bottom, and register around 205F with an instant thermometer. Let cool slightly before slicing and eating
