Sticky Chicken Wings

Cooking these wings in cola makes them ridiculously sticky and delicious- just how chicken wings should be. Don’t be shy about slurping it off your fingers. This marinade also works well with pork chops on the barbecue.

Instructions

Step 1
Mix the garlic, sherry and soy sauce in a bowl and marinate the chicken wings for 30 minutes.

Step 2
Heat a large frying pan with a few spoonfuls of the oil over a medium heat. Take the wings out of the marinade and season them generously with salt and pepper. Brown them all over the pan. Pour in the remaining marinade and the cola, add the carrots, and simmer everything, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes, until the wings are tender and the liquid has reduced to a glaze.
