Tofu Teriyaki with Rice

Instructions

Step 1
Pat your tofu with paper towels and press the water out of it

Once dry, cut your tofu in small bite-sized cubes

Pour cornstarch on a pyrex and cover all sides of your tofu cubes with it

Add vegetable oil to heated pan, add tofu cubes and grill until golden on all sides

Move the golden tofu to a separate container

For the sauce

Grate the minced garlic

Add the gochujang paste, rice vinegar, paprika, and honey to create a paste with all of them

Pour the soy sauce and the water and stir

Start adding the cornstarch to thicken the sauce

Add the tofu in and mix

On a bowl of steamed rice, pour some teriyaki tofu with scallions and sesame seeds as garnish
