Chicken & Mushroom in Orange Sauce with Rice

Instructions

Step 1
Marinate chicken with salt, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper for at least 20 minutes

Heat up a large skillet, add Vegetable Oil
Step 3
Add the chicken and brown both side for at least 5 minutes each

Remove chicken from skillet and set aside
Step 5
Add more Vegetable oil to the same skillet

Add minced Shallots, sautéed
Step 7
Add minced Garlic, sautéed until light brown

Add the mushrooms, sautéed
Step 9
Add the chicken bouillon water mix

Add the orange juice
Step 11
Season sauce with salt and sugar

After 5 minutes, remove the lid, then flip the chicken
Step 13
Continue simmering on medium heat without the lid for an additional 15 minutes
Step 14
In a small bowl, scoop about 3 Tbsp of the liquid and let it cool for 5 minutes
Step 15
Add the cornstarch to make a slurry to thicken up the sauce
Step 16
Add the slurry while it’s simmering to avoid big clumps
Step 17
Sprinkle Dried Parsley
Step 18
Serve with Uncle Ben’s Rice
