Instructions
Step 1
Cut 1 brick of tofu (I like to use "traditional" medium-hard type) into cubes and dry on paper towel
Step 2
Heat saucepan and put a bit of oil
Step 3
Put 1 tablespoon chili black bean sauce (I use a chinese kind called 豆瓣酱) in sauce pan and cook for 30 sec
Step 4
Put in tofu
Step 5
Cook for approx 5 min while stirring gently occasionally
Step 6
Add approx 1-2 tablespoons vegan oyster sauce, to taste
Step 7
Cook for 2 more min
Step 8
Add cornstarch water mixture if it's too wet (optional)
Step 9
Add chopped green onion & sesame (optional)
Step 10
Ready to serve! :)
