Instructions
Step 1
Cut sausage into disks and brown thoroughly in a large skillet.
Step 2
Add onion, green pepper, and celery to the skillet with the sausage. Cook until vegetables are tender crisp.
Step 3
Drain juice from pineapple and reserve. Add tomatoes, broth, pineapple, brown sugar, garlic powder, and pepper to skillet. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Blend cornstarch with reserved pineapple juice. Pour slowly, while stirring, into meat-vegetable mixture. Cook and stir until thickened - about 2 minutes.
Step 5
Serve over beds of fluffy rice.
