Instructions
Step 1
1. Heat olive oil in a deep pot over medium to high heat.
Step 2
2. Add onion, garlic and chilli and cook for 5 minute sor until onion becomes translucent, ensuring to stir regularly.
Step 3
3. Add tomato paste and crushed tomatoes. Heat for 5 minutes
Step 4
Add salt, pepper and oregano. Leave to simmer on a low heat for 20min.
Step 5
Add basil leaves and cook for a further 5 minutes.
Step 6
Serve with your favourite pasta.
