Instructions
Step 1
Add the butter to a large soup pot or pan and place it over medium-high heat for two minutes. Add the onion. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 2
Add the ground pork and beef to the pot. Break it apart with a spoon. Cook for 6-7 minutes, until the meat is browned, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Drained the excess of water. Add black pepper and red wine vinegar. Stir until well combined.
Step 4
Add the diced tomatoes (with their juice), tomato sauce and beans. Stir well.
Step 5
Add garlic salt, cayenne pepper, cumin, chipotle powder, chili powder and Knorr tomatoe, and everything will be to taste. If you like to follow instructions I will do a 1 teaspoon of each.
Step 6
Finally add the brown sugar. Bring to a low boil. Then, reduce the heat (low to medium-low) to gently simmer the chili, uncovered, for 10 - 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 7
Remove the pot from the heat. Let the chili rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
