Instructions
Step 1
Heat oven to 450°F. Line the cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper.
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix Original Bisquick® mix, lemon peel, cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar. Add milk and applesauce; stir until just incorporated. Gently stir in blueberries. Drop dough by spoonfuls on a cookie sheet.
Step 3
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden.
Step 4
TIP: For biscuits with a more golden brown finish, before baking, brush biscuits with an egg wash made of 1 egg and 1 tablespoon water. Sprinkle sugar on top of egg wash.
