as much or as little as you want... I use four to small coin sized chunks
2green onions
1 bunchcilantro
small
1 ½ tspcoriander seeds
whole not ground
2whole cloves
6 cupswater
4 tspchicken flavor bouillon
½ tspsalt
or to taste

Instructions
Step 1
Peel/slice the ginger into 4 or 5 coins. Thinly slice green parts of the green onion…about 2-3 tbsp. Chop cilantro.
Step 2
In a large pot, toast the coriander seeds and 2 cloves over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes or until they start smelling yummy! Stir them around as you toast all sides.
Step 3
Add in the ginger and green onion and stir for 30 seconds or so.
Step 4
Slide off of the heat and allow to briefly cool. Now add in your 6 cups of water and 4 tsp. chicken bouillon. Return to burner. Add in cilantro and salt.
Step 5
Bring to a boil over high heat and then lower the heat to gently simmer for 15 minutes or longer (the longer it cooks, the more flavor!). Put the bean threads in a separate pot with a strainer on top. Pour your broth through the strainer to get the big chunks out and to soak your bean threads with broth.
Step 6
Put your favorite toppings over your yummy pho and enjoy!
