Instructions
Step 1
Prepare and slice bacon into small pieces, dice garlic, slice Thai chili, Shiitake mushroom and scallion, set aside.
Step 2
Start with a pot filled with water, add in a small amount of cooking oil, and bring to boil. Put rice cake in the pot to cook for a couple of minutes once it starts boiling, transfer to a bowl once they are about 80% cooked.
Step 3
Heat up cooking oil in a skillet, further add in sliced bacon to cook on medium heat until it turns golden brown, and remove from the heat.
Step 4
Using remaining bacon oil in the skillet, add in diced garlic and Thai chili to mix on medium heat for under a minute. Further add in sliced Shiitake mushroom to cook, simmer on medium low heat with lid on for a couple of minutes until it turns golden brown on the outside. Further add in cooked rice cake to stir fry for another minute before adding in the bacon. Season with chicken powder and garnish with sliced scallion. Ready to serve.
