Step 1
Begin by bringing a pot of heavily salted water to a boil.

Add pasta to the boiling water and prepare ingredients as described.
Step 3
In a pan, gently fry the chillies and garlic in olive oil. Once fragrant, add the passata.

Add the basil and other dried herbs. Season the sauce to taste.
Step 5
Remove the cooked pasta using a slotted spoon and add to the sauce, adding additional pasta water if the sauce is too tight.
Step 6
Serve with grated parmesan.
